YAD 2013

It’s all coming together for Yard Art Day 2013. Wonderful to be doing this for the second year in a row.

We made a few changes for this year. First of all we had many requests to hold YAD over the entire Labor Day holiday weekend which we are going to do. So from here forward – YAD will be every year Labor Day Holiday Weekend – Sat, Sun and Mon. Secondly, we are now allowing businesses to participate for a minimal fee of $50.00. This will help cover our costs. Business owners must still create a work of art with their staff OR hire a local artist to create a work of art.

I am already seeing on the Facebook group page creativity going wild for YAD.  So I can not wait to see what you all come up with for 2013.

Great team helping me out this year. Kudos to David Caldwell for the YAD Participants Application, Susan Walker for her help with the sign and last but not least Laurie Smithwick of Leap Design for her resourceful input. And I must give a big  shout out to each and everyone of you who are participating and helping keep this dream alive.
