We are hoping to see plenty of photos from you, whether you are a Yard Art Day exhibitor, or touring your community to see what your YADist neighbors have created for you to enjoy. We also encourage you to share the YAD love on your timelines – to further spread the Yard Art Day gospel. So that next year and in future years, Yard Art Day can be even bigger and better. For both exhibitors and patrons, remember these Yard Art Day social media tips and links ..

Today is kinda weird for us. After all, today is Labor Day – better known in these parts as Yard Art Day. Normally, we would be setting up our Yard Art displays, and with excitement, getting into our cars to travel throughout the area to see all the great examples of creativity all our fellow YADists show off every year. But this year is different.
Believe it or not Yard Art Day 2017 is a little over 150 days away! That’s not nearly as much time as it looks. Time to get those creative caps back on .. and once again, explore ways to announce your imagination to your neighborhood – as well as our now international YAD family.
A big “shout out” to Juli Ghazi for entering her Central Avenue Pure Pizza as the first business registrant for this year’s Yard Art Day! Juli has always been a dedicated community-involved person and supporter of Yard Art Day since the beginning. If you own or manage a business with a street-viewable location, Yes, your business can participate too!
We are gearing up early this year for Yard Art Day 2016 (Labor Day, September 5). The new Yard Art Day signs should be ready for pick up in about two weeks. We’ll do a post here and on our Facebook page when and where you can come get your own. Reminder – signs are only for those participating. In the meantime – I thought I would share some inspirational links so that you get those right sides of your brains working for this year …
